I joined the ‘Across Madrid Spanish Civil War Tour’ covering a subject in which I have been interested for many years. Almudena the guide, was excellent. The tour was detailed and thorough and brought to life the reality of the turmoil in Madrid and what it must have been like, with detail which perhaps is often missing from the many publications which have been made on the conflict.

Almudena is very knowledgeable, and is able to bring to life the tour with some personal and very interesting recounting of her grandparents’ experiences during the siege of Madrid.

For anyone interested in the Spanish Civil War I highly recommend this tour.
