We had 3 excellent days with Almu in Madrid this month. Almu has all the qualities a good guide has:
She is extremely knowledgable and passionate about the art and history of Spain and Madrid, she is nice, funny has patience and is accommodating.

We were 5 including grandparents and teenager and she was loved and appreciated by all.

I wanted to learn about the early history of Spain and the influence of other civilisations to Spanish culture.

Almudena was an animated guide, enthusiastic and informative. Her presentation of the tour and exhibits was entertaining and easy to understand.

I am so pleased we did this tour at the beginning of our 3 week holiday in Spain, because it connected so much of what we saw for the rest of our trip. Thank you, Almudena.

I live in London and am a frequent visitor to the British Museum. I wanted to take the opportunity during my trip to Madrid to see the refurbished Archaeological Museum, but did not have much time to spare, so I decided to book the Treasures of Iberia tour with Across Madrid. Dr. Cros took me through the different cultures of Iberia in 3 hours, in the most engaging manner. I would not have known where to start since the Museum is so big and the quality of the pieces is so great. I feel now I can visit archaeological sites with a better knowledge of where they fit in the general timeline of Spanish history, and have a new appreciation of early civilisations such as the Iberians. A fascinating tour, which I strongly recommend.
