Thank you Almudena for the amazing experience that my 10 year old son and I had at the Prado. It was fun, it was educational, it was amusing, it was inspiring ... it was so many things.

We were in Madrid because my son's fanatic adoration of Real Madrid, so at the end of the trip I ask him what have you enjoyed most (confident that he will tell me the match), and he replies " two things The Match and the Prado"....

Almudena really does a fantastic tour!!!

I found Across Madrid on the website.  I wrote Almudena if my kids 5 and 8 years old are not too young for the Prado museum. Almudena encouraged me that they would love it. She was right.

They were very excited and learnt a lot. So did I and my husband.

She followed up after the trip with more information. Such interesting stories.

I recommend her for kids and adults.

We were just in Madrid over Thanksgiving vacation, traveling with out 3 and 6 year old sons. We took a chance and booked two tours with Almudena before we left (Bear tour and Prado tour for kids). 

Two minutes into the first tour I realized we made the right choice. 

Bottom line-- she is a very nice person, pleasant, relates well to children, engages the children, comes with her own supporting materials (pamphlets and info packets), is well educated, speaks English well, knows the local area, was on time and reliable. 

I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a local tour guide.
